Temelín NPP - ensuring the operational lifetime of the main ESW (essential service water) pipelines

I&C Energo and ČEZ, a.s. have signed a contract for the implementation of the project "Ensuring the operational lifetime of the main ESW pipelines until at least 2050".

The subject of the work is to guarantee the design function of control valves, tapping valves, measuring orifices and throttling orifices. The replacement of the VF piping routes will restore the internal clearance (flow cross-section) and thus guarantee the heat removal from the VF appliances in the structure, including the elimination of leaks and loss of integrity of the piping routes at the Temelín Nuclear Power Plant.

As a contractor, we will prepare the Project Documentation for the construction, Production and Technical Documentation and other technical documentation. Gradually until 2029, during the two unit block outages, we will replace selected pipeline routes including replacement of control valves, tapping valves, flow measuring orifices and throttling orifices to corrosion-resistant design.
