Success in the selection procedure

On the basis of the officially announced results, I&C Energo won the tenders announced by ČEZ for the conclusion of Framework Agreements for the maintenance, repair and inspection of equipment of Electrical and I&C systems logical units at the Dukovany and Temelín nuclear power plants for the period from 2021 to 2028.

The existing maintenance activities in Dukovany and Temelín will be contractually ensured for the next eight years with smooth continuity. The new contracts bring better opportunities for higher efficiency of maintenance activities, including the direct involvement of I&C Energo in the course and outcome of outages. The completed tenders lasted for almost one year. The victory places I&C Energo in the position of the first supplier of logical units that concludes a "new type" of long-term service contracts for both Czech nuclear power plants.

The victory in these key public tenders is also a confirmation of I&C Energo’s capabilities and expertise and the result of a continuous effort to build the position of a reliable and respected supplier for the nuclear power industry. The service for Czech nuclear power units thus receives a fundamental new impetus. I&C Energo’s entire current product portfolio has historically been built on the basis of experience gained from service activities, and therefore these current victories in tenders are strategically important for the future of the entire company.
