Replacement of stable fire extinguishing equipment pipes on transformers and additional protection of conservators at the Temelín NPP

I&C Energo has won a public contract, the subject of which is the processing of documentation and subsequent implementation of the work consisting in the replacement of stable fire extinguishing equipment pipes with new pipes on transformers 1(2)AT1(2,3), 1(2)BT1(2 ) and 7(8)BT1(2) including increasing the protection of conservators by adding pipes and spray nozzles with k-factor k20.

The implementation will take place during outages in the years 2022 to 2025 - the existing above-ground part of the dry piping of the stable fire extinguishing equipment of the unit, branch and reserve transformers will be replaced with new piping of the same size and material as the existing stable fire extinguishing equipment piping. The replacement concerns the distribution ring around the transformer from the connecting flange, including the part of the riser pipes to the flanges for DN 50 water filters, the blowdown piping branches with a manual shut-off valve and the discharge branches with a manual shut-off valve.
