Reconstruction of 0.38 kV unit section distibution boards at the Dukovany NPP

I&C Energo a.s. has signed a contract for the public contract for the implementation of the project "Reconstruction of 0.38 kV unit section distibution boards at the Dukovany NPP".

The purpose of the work is to replace the section distribution boards of unit internal power consumption, which are at the end of their design lifetime, in order to ensure the long-term operability of the facility within the expected operation until at least 2045. The subject of the work is to replace and upgrade the existing equipment completely , increase the reliability and safety of its operation and reduce its operational maintenance costs, with an emphasis on ensuring the requirements of the applicable standards and regulations. The section distribution boards will be equipped with new modern elements of better parameters compared to the previous design condition.

In terms of design and technical requirements, this is a very significant long-term contract for the NPP BT2 safety class equipment, which is planned to be implemented in 29 sub-units by 2032.
