Dukovany NPP - Replacement of control device of the impulse safety valve of the separator-reheater, 0.7 MPa collector, and aftercooler

I&C Energo a.s. has succeeded in the selection procedure for the project "Replacement of the control device of the impulse safety valve of the separator-reheater, 0.7 MPa collector, and aftercooler".

The existing control devices (48 units) will be replaced by a new type of control device compatible with the existing impulse safety valves as part of the implementation of the project. The new controllers will be supplied by L D M, spol. s r.o.

The implementation includes the replacement of the existing impulse piping routes and the addition of new impulse piping routes to the control devices so that all three control elements of the devices are independent of each other (in accordance with ČSN EN ISO 4126-5). The existing lift and load air piping will be replaced with new piping of corrosion-resistant design. Selected manual valves installed in the piping will be removed without replacement, while others will be replaced with a new type.

The project will be implemented in ten sub-units with a completion date in 2028.
