Dukovany NPP – Reconstruction of hydrazine dosing

I&C Energo has succeeded in a tender announced by ČEZ a.s. and will implement the contract "Reconstruction of hydrazine dosing into the 1.0 MPa demineralized water pipeline".

The project will include the installation of a new hydrazine and ammonia dosing station, which will ensure the required chemical regime of the demineralized water - removal of oxygen and reduction regime necessary to eliminate corrosion risks. The demineralized water is intended for replenishment of feed tanks, piping routes and steam generators in the operating modes of Units 6 and 7. The possibility of automatic start-up/shutdown of dosing pumps will allow meeting the requirements for the chemical regime of the demineralized water replenished to the after-cooling circuit. At the same time, the implementation will eliminate health and safety risks during the preparation and operation of the plant in question.

The implementation will be carried out in five sub-units. Completion is scheduled for December 2026.
