Dukovany NPP - Issues of SAOZ (Emergency Core Cooling System) test and starting routes

Having won a selection procedure, I&C Energo will implement the contract "Issues of SAOZ test and starting routes" at the Dukovany NPP. The purpose of the work is to ensure the reliable and safe operation of the electro driven valves of the SAOZ test and starting routes (Emergency Core Cooling System).

As part of the project, the existing affected actuators will be replaced by new ones made by AUMA. After implementation, the new valves can be closed (power supply secured) even if an initiating event occurs during the SAOZ test operation. The subject of the work is subject to the requirements of Decree No. 358/2016 Coll., on requirements for quality assurance and technical safety and assessment and verification of conformity of selected devices. The work is classified as selected device in safety class - BT2.

The project will be implemented in twelve sub-units and completion is planned for mid-2028.
