Battery energy storage system at the Červený Mlýn heating plant

In mid-July, our company was announced the winner of the tender and at the beginning of August signed a contract for the turnkey delivery of a battery energy storage system with an output of 4 MW and a capacity of 3.1 MWh. In cooperation with our subcontractors, the newly supplied and installed equipment will enable us to expand the portfolio of PpS services (support services) offered to Teplárny Brno a.s.

This is a continuation of several projects of battery energy storage systems that we have been working on in the form of various studies. Changes in the existing self-consumption systems at the HV and LV levels, provision of changes in the existing control system, certification and modifications in the existing communication terminal with the ČEPS control room also form an integral part of our delivery. We believe that we will also contribute to the stability and security of the Czech power system with this project and at the same time expand our portfolio of services and solutions in the field of support services for ČEPS, for which our company is a certification authority.
