Temelín NPP – Modernization of Field Instrumentation at BUK of HVB (two unit block) 1 and 2

We have signed a contract for the implementation of the public procurement project “Modernization of Field Instrumentation at BUK HVB 1 and 2.” The purpose of the project is to ensure the long-term operability and reliability of the secondary water purification system (BUK) at both generating units of the Temelín Nuclear Power Plant. The scope of work includes the preparation of design documentation and manufacturing and technical documentation, dismantling of the existing field instrumentation, supply and installation of new BUK system field instrumentation, performance of the required tests, and commissioning. The existing indicators will be replaced with new transmitters in a separate configuration. The new tank level measurement system meets the requirements for use with chemically aggressive media.

The project will be implemented from 2027 to mid-2029.
