Replacement of NPL Power Supply Units at the Temelín Nuclear Power Plant

I&C Energo has won the public procurement contract entitled “Replacement of NPL Power Supply Units”. The aim of the project is to ensure the long-term operability and reliability of the NPL (Non-Programmable Logic) safety system at Unit 2 of the Temelín NPP.

The contract includes the preparation of qualification documentation for the new power supply units for non-programmable logic cabinets, the manufacture of qualification samples, and the subsequent qualification testing to demonstrate compliance with the required technical parameters.

The scope of the project also includes the preparation of design and manufacturing documentation for implementation, the removal of the existing power supply units, the delivery and installation of 86 new power supply units, and the supply of 34 spare units. The implementation is scheduled to take place during planned outages in 2029 and 2030.
