Reconstruction of the MV Switchgear at the Paper Mill in Štětí

I&C Energo and Mondi Štětí have entered into a contract for the reconstruction of an MV substation at the company’s premises in Štětí.

The scope of the contract includes the preparation of detailed design documentation, the dismantling of the original 6 kV switchgear, and the supply and installation of a new MV switchgear system consisting of twenty fully equipped panels.

The project will also include the disconnection of the existing power and control cabling, the implementation of the necessary construction modifications for the installation of the new switchgear, the installation of the new panels, and the subsequent reconnection of the existing MV and control cabling. Prior to commissioning, the new switchgear will be integrated into the customer’s existing control systems.

The installation work will be carried out by our own employees under the professional supervision of an ABB supervisor.

The project implementation is scheduled to commence in October 2026, with completion and final handover to the customer expected in December 2026.
